A conversation I engaged in with another recently.. In this life.

Worded as follows.

Okay, sir. Jesus's instructions are simple. I'll go along with you on that for now. But is Jesus easy to understand? It seems as though many interpret his words differently. I've heard his messages, instructions and parables being described as rich and deep in meaning. As though one sentence or phrase can mean many different things to many different people. 

I get confused and my faith is weak but here's some examples of what I mean, "Flesh is born of Flesh." so often I read people interpret this as being human beings are born from other human beings. Okay. Before I read that particular interpretation I interpreted "Flesh is born of Flesh" as I have to eat meat to grow back my body when I start to break down." it's possible I'm completely wrong.

. Did Jesus give sight back to a physically blind man or spiritually blind man? The gospels don't seem to be clear. Did Jesus quit consuming alcohol when he said, "But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom..

” here's my translation, 

" I will not drink any more wine until I drink juice with you after I've regenerated from the murder they're going to commit against me by nailing me to a couple pieces of wood. 

I have many confusications I'd like to put out there but I'll save them for another time.

But, your looking too deep into it.

I feel, that, sometimes, people can be a little too superfluous about the words of jesus.  

While not applying themselves to what really matter.

The commandments .

For example, jesus wrote in the sand once.

In the gospels.

Many people I have talked with over the years, have asked me, what on earth would jesus start writing in the sand , when people were presenting him with the functions addressed in John 8 verse 6 .

At least I think that's the verse.

What I've noticed about a lot of these people though alan, is the fact, none of them truly kept the ten commandments.

I always noticed that.

In one way or another.

You see how Christian's can not make sense sometimes?

It's crazy not to follow the functions of matthew 19, 17 and john 14, 15, and then ultimately ask what jesus wrote in sand.

Dont get me wrong.

It would be cool to know what jesus wrote in some sand...

Of course.

But the key here is, 

First do what jesus says is important to life.

Matthew 19 verse 17 and the ten commandments.

Then , after that, be concerned about the other stuff.
